As our lives unfold, difficult times and challenges give rise to critical moments and how we choose to respond to them defines the direction of the next chapter in our lives. As a result of what we learn of life experiences, we automatically start to respond to situations which may no longer be relevant or appropriate and over time we often forget why it started happening in the first place.
When clients relax in the comfortable chair, and I ask them what brings them to see me. They always want to experience hypnosis and sometimes have the belief that all they need do is go to sleep, rather like visiting a brain surgeon, and when they awake up everything will be just fine. Perhaps clients are influenced by stage hypnosis shows which imply that hypnotists can take over their mind and make them do things that they wouldn’t normally do. For such shows, participants are carefully selected volunteers and the show is nothing more than a clever illusion and very entertaining. Hypnosis just does not work like that.
The mission of an Transformational Therapist is that of Rapid Transformation. In fact, hypnosis is highly focused attention and concentration often associated with relaxation. Hypnotherapists work with their clients and not on them and their real task is to actually wake people up – to de-hypnotise them so that they can make good conscious choices and learn to live and excel in the present moment.
I guide and help create a space that allows clients to make the necessary changes in perspective which leads to greater success, love, peace and contentment much more quickly than if they had to work it all out for themselves from the beginning.
Here is the science:
Advances in neuroscience have proven that when clients maintain those changes in perspective through relaxing, self-hypnosis and meditation they can create real and long lasting positive effects on their mental health and body. Read more here.
What is Transformational Therapy?
Transformational Therapy is not talk therapy. It is a Stand Alone SOLUTION FOCUSSED therapy, a hybrid therapy of hypnosis, psychotherapy, NLP & psychology and it accesses the subconscious mind, the vault of our memories and learned experiences.
