Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A few sessions with Shameen helped me to clear some chronic issues with my posture and various pains. I really can't thank her enough for her care and attention, as well as the diligence of the treatment plans each time. Thank you so much

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I came to Shameen during a difficult and unexpected time in my life, feeling confused and emotionally overwhelmed. Shameen helped me process the experience and created supportive routine sessions to help me regain balance, both mentally and physically. I felt truly cared for throughout — the combination of reflexology and acupuncture was incredibly supportive emotionally and physically.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went to see Shameen during a short stay in London mainly because of some ongoing back pain, but also because I felt a bit off balance mentally with everything going on. The session felt grounding and gave me a sense of being a bit more “back within myself” already the same day. The pain didn’t magically disappear, but it noticeably eased, which honestly already meant a lot to me. Shameen has a very calm and caring presence, and I felt in good hands throughout the whole treatment. If you’re open to a more holistic approach and not expecting instant miracles, I can definitely recommend giving it a try.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had my first ear acupuncture session with Shameen last week, and it was a surprisingly positive experience. I came straight from the office feeling anxious, stressed, and with noticeable neck pain (that I have for the last 6 months), and the difference I felt during and after the session was immediate. Shameen was attentive, kind, and incredibly generous with both time and thoughtful explanations. Ear seeding was also applied, which was clearly explained and added to the overall sense of care behind the treatment. My main concern was neck pain, which completely resolved, and I left feeling much calmer and more at ease. I felt listened to and genuinely supported throughout the session. I will definitely be back!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been working with Shameen Contractor of The Healing Place , since October 2024, and the impact she has had on my life is something I will always be grateful for. As an acupuncturist, reflexologist, and reiki practitioner, she brings these plus a wealth of guidance tools and such warmth and presence to every session. When I first came to her, I wasn’t sure if anything in my life could truly change. I carried so much doubt, fear, hurt and sadness about who I was and where I was going. Shameen has patiently and gently guided me through that uncertainty, helping me dig deep to find my own light and inner strength. Over the past year, I’ve noticed a slow but powerful shift in my thinking. With her support, I’ve started my own business, managed heavy family pressures, and—most importantly—begun to feel more confident in my choices and more connected to who I truly am. That was always at the heart of my struggles, and I know that Shameen’s work has been a huge part of my growth. She is compassionate, wise, and incredibly supportive. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone seeking real transformation in both their personal and professional journey. Thank you Shameen!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a Zone Face Lift session with Shameen last week. She started with a neck and shoulders massage that really helped relax my body, then she proceeded to do the Zone Face lift, something that I not had before, it was very pleasant, relaxing and invigorating at the same time. She ended the treatment with a nice foot massage. My face looked brighter and it felt so relaxed. I felt that the treatment was very helpful in terms of how I felt physically and also psychologically. I have already booked another session and I cannot wait to have this treatment again. I wrote the above review 5 years ago and this is a new one based on recent treatments . I have had had and face reflexology, foot and face reflexology and cosmetic acupuncture. Shameen made me feel very comfortable and she is extremely good. All of these treatments are very relaxing, pain-free and very enjoyable. After each treatment my face looked and felt amazing and I noticed a significant improvement in the way I felt mentally and physically. I highly recommend these treatments and it is always a pleasure to have them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I visited Shameen for a Facial and Foot Reflexology session and she was very comforting, informative and knowledgeable. She was able to answer my questions and we talked through the reason for my visit and how to get the best out of the session. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and would definitely visit Shameen again.
